iBackup

iBackup offers a quick and simple way of creating backup copies of any files. It allows you to create full and differential backups with only a few clicks.

You don't have to go through an installation process before using it. Its core files can be extracted directly from an archive.  It provides an easy-to-learn menu, with basic features focused on achieving backups on demand. The software program also includes a backup scheduler that enables you to plan tasks at a specified date and time.

The application integrates with the Windows Task Scheduler, so you can schedule backups to run automatically. You can view a list of existing jobs and create new ones in separate windows. To define a new task, you must select one or more source folders and a destination path. iBackup can be set to create a new backup every few days, weeks, months or years.

In turn, all tasks can be saved as a single configurations file, in XML format. Moreover, individual jobs can be scheduled with the Task Scheduler, and the program can create logs with general information, warnings and errors. As previously mentioned, backup files can be loaded into the main window, where you can view the data stored within.

The contents are displayed in a tree structure and you can recover individual files or entire folders by just selecting them and clicking a button located on a toolbar. Before the data is restored, you can include or exclude the original items' times, permission properties and owner information.

Taking everything into consideration, iBackup is a clean and efficient tool you can set to create new backup files on a regular basis or use the Windows Task Scheduler to set up a more flexible timetable.
