There are literally hundreds of apps that provide backup and recovery capabilities and it’s quite challenging to innovate in such a “pool” of options. iSunshare CloneGo promises to deliver a set of classic backup and restore tools, packed into an accessible, friendly bundle.

Almost all backup and recovery apps entail tab-based layouts, which contain features for cloning, backing-up or restoring data. Things aren’t different for this program and users will be able to quickly select one of the three functions with ease, thanks to the minimalist design.

Regardless if cloning a partition or backing up data, the process itself is very accessible, especially for novices, who either do not have the know-how or who don’t like to fiddle too much with the app.

If going more in-depth about the program’s tools, one might notice that the app does not offer a more detailed selection for the data that is to be backed up. That is, only entire drives or partitions can be copied, backed-up or restored.

However, this aspect isn’t such a big deal-breaker, especially since most users might prefer to save their entire file collection and less so only particular folders or files. During our tests, we failed to experience any lag or performance issues when running the backup process, but users must be aware that these aspects are dependent on the performance of their drives.

If one is looking for a simplified backup and restore solution, then iSunshare CloneGo might very well be a good candidate. However, lacking more advanced features, such as detailed file selection or backup read/write speed customization, it could be too basic for more demanding users.
