sMedio 360: TrueSync

sMedio 360: TrueSync is a software application whose purpose is to help you synchronize your files across multiple computers.

The tool displays a tutorial when you run it for the first time, highlighting its key features. A help manual is not included in the package but you can rely on a wizard-like approach which offers step-by-step guidance throughout the entire configuration process.

sMedio 360: TrueSync helps you configure the items that you want to share. You can activate the default settings and share default folders (My Documents, My Videos, My Music and My Pictures), contacts (you need to have Microsoft Outlook installed) and all your files.

What’s more, you are allowed to manually select the directories you want to share and filter the files based on extension (e.g. DOCX, JPG, MP3, MP4). You can password-protected the shared information in order to prevent other users from gaining access to your sensitive data.

Before you can sync files, you need to set up a second computer. A download link is sent to a user-defined email address so you can deploy the application on another PC.

Once you are done with the configuration settings, you can browse throughout any computer and download media files and documents to your system. You can search for devices, sync data across multiple computers, and define the action that is triggered upon sync conflicts, namely prompt, skip affected files or sync the most recent version.

In case you change your mind and want to share other locations or disable some of the current ones, sMedio 360: TrueSync allows you to redefine your shared library.

If you are looking for a straightforward approach for syncing your files across multiple PCS, sMedio 360: TrueSync may be the right answer. It doesn’t overwhelm you with tons of configuration settings and make you go through a lengthy process.
