Testing your PC’s capabilities can be done in numerous ways, accounting for various aspects and parameters, but by far, one of the most popular and widely used methods for assessing the performance of your physical memory banks, is a stress loading test of the RAM modules, with progressively more data, until a certain threshold, which yields a response that can be seen as a benchmarking indicator.
EightGigabyte Benchmark tackles the aforementioned aspects, and it was designed specifically in order to enable users with the means to test their PCs’ RAM modules by relying on the progressive loading method.
The application will enable users to preview the loading process, as its interface features a dedicated set of progress bars, and each will individually display its corresponding task number and associated load in MB/s.
Aside from the individual task display, EightGigabyte Benchmark also comes equipped with several other display elements, which will allow users to preview the minimum, maximum, as well as average loading speed.
Last but not least, it is worth noting that the data loading in the fixed memory is performed by writing directly from the RAM to the disk, and not from disk to disk, in order to avoid bottlenecks.
