FFT-z Portable

This is the portable edition of FFT-z, a feather-light application that enables you to stress your computer's CPU and memory to find out how well they perform under pressure. 

Since installation is not necessary, you can save the app directory in any part of the hard drive and simply click the .exe file to launch FFT-z. Another possibility is to copy it to a USB flash drive to directly run it on any machine, in order to test its hardware without making a setup. It doesn't modify Windows registry settings.

The GUI is user-friendly, made from a small window with a simple look and split into multiple panes for viewing processor information, benchmarking the PC, monitoring the core temperature, and for examining the available PC features.

Besides manually running a benchmark to test and rate the CPU thread speed, this action can be performed automatically by scheduling FFT-z to run it later (e.g. 5 minutes, 1 day). Plus, the benchmark can be automatically stopped if it encounters any errors, and the log files can be exported to file for closer inspection.

Moreover, FFT-z indicates the current and maximum allowed CPU core temperature, view online results with ratings, disable the program's high priority runtime mode, as well as customize the number of CPU cores to include in the benchmarks.

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that FFT-z didn't hang, crash or pop up error messages. Taking into account its approachable and powerful options, FFT-z should be a good match to anyone looking to easily run benchmarks on their PC's CPU and RAM.
