EZ File Transplanter

EZ File Transplanter is a nice application that helps move files from one location to another.

Unlike similar software solutions, this application also moves shortcuts and registry entries linked to the initial file, so to make sure that the file would definitely work even in its newest location.

It comes with a very intuitive graphical interface that allows users to move files easily and make all sort of changes to the application's functions. EZ File Transplanter is efficient in moving files, but it also re-maps system links that point to the moved files.

This ensures that the folder/file with work even after you move it and you won't receive any error messages. Programs linked to moved files will be able to access the data and everything will run smoothly.

EZ File Transplanter has three modes that you can choose from, the first one moves and maps items, the second can be used for mapping drive letters of drives that you have switched.

The third mode is used when you've already moved items and would like to map them. In order to move files, simply drag the item from the left box and pick the location in the right one.

You have the option to select the system locations to search through, so that system links to the old item can be found in the new location. The application looks into the registry, shortcuts, settings and more.

If you've moved a file that you didn't intend to, you can access the Undo section. The feature allows you to restore changes older than one day, one week or one month. You also have the option of keeping the moved file and creating a copy in the original location.
