Quick Anime Renamer

Dedicated to mass Anime downloaders, Quick Anime Renamer is a feather-light utility capable of fixing the file names of Anime series by removing or replacing symbols with other characters. Although it's primarily designed for Anime shows, the tool works with any content types, such as pictures or songs.

Before launching this program by double-clicking its executable file, you should make sure to download and install .NET Framework unless you already have it, since it was developed using this software framework.

Other than that, it doesn't update the Windows registry with new entries or produce files or folders on the disk without your consent. To perform a clean uninstall, you just have to delete the .exe.

The main window has a clear-cut structure, showing all options put at your disposal. You can start by finding and selecting a directory whose containing files you want to take into account for the renaming operation.

Only the selected files shall be processed, and there are buttons displayed for selecting all, none, or inverting the current selection. Quick Anime Renamer gives you the possibility to remove "[~]" and "(~)" symbols, as well as to replace "_" and "." with blank space.

You can instruct the tool to find and replace strings with characters with anything else you enter. If you want to just remove specific strings, make sure to leave the replacement field empty. The utility lets you preview modifications to help you decide whether or not you want to apply them.

Renaming jobs were performed fast in our tests while the program remained light on system resources consumption. It needed low RAM and CPU to function optimally.
