With the help of Disk Space Fan you can analyze disk space, identify duplicate files and remove them to make room for new content.

It's wrapped in a user-friendly and attractive workspace that enables you to quickly figure out how to use it, even if you don't have previous experience in such software.

The primary application window shows a list with all disk drives existing on your computer, and it compiles pie charts with the total capacity, used and free space of each one.

After a drive is scanned, you can check out the top list with large folders, in addition to a graphical representation of their distribution on the partition, as well as filter files by type (e.g. audio, video, software, image, documents, duplicates).

New filters can be created by simply specifying a name and extensions to take into account. Plus, you can edit the file types of the existing filters.

You can select any entry from the top list and open the folder's location in Windows Explorer without leaving Disk Space Fan's interface, exclude it from the current and future scans, remove it from the HDD, view properties, and get a list of containing duplicates.

As far as program options are concerned, you can integrate the tool into the Windows Explorer context menu for quickly scanning drives, save scan results to file for later examination, customize the UI colors (root, images, common files, duplicates, folders), as well as indicate the scan type (with or without hash) and exclusions when it comes to small-sized files, file types and folders.

The software program worked smoothly in our tests, without hanging, crashing or showing error messages. It carried out scan jobs swiftly while remaining light on the system resources, using low CPU and memory.

The bottom line is that Disk Space Fan offers a simple and effective solution to analyzing hard disk space and finding duplicates to remove, and it can be handled by anyone with ease. No recent updates have been made, though.
