As the name suggests, Automatic Shutdown N is an application that enables you to time your computer to power off, restart or log off from the current user profile.

Following a quick and uneventful setup, you are welcomed by an appealing splash screen that allows you to select one of the three available modes, Gamer Terminator, Normal and Nuclear. You can select the mode that best suits you and active the timer from there.

While the Gamer Terminator mode addresses parents who want to make sure their children do not spend too much time playing video games, The Nuclear Mode enables you to shutdown your computer regardless of the task it is performing.

As you probably, the Normal Mode is designed for the average user and provides you with the most automatic options. You can specify whether you want to restart, log off or power off the computer and set the timer using hours and minutes.

You should know that the application leaves much to be wanted in terms of options and features. Consequentially, you can solely specify the mode that you want to be active at Windows Startup. On a side note, you can also configure the app to display the Gamer Terminator Mode from the dedicated menu.

It is important to note that the program does not come with the full set of operations associated with powering off or rebooting your computer. You cannot configure it to Hibernate or go on Standby when you are away.

Moreover, you can only set it to perform a certain action during the immediate interval and not on multiple days of the week. The latter feature would come in handy for users who need to perform monotonous tasks at the end of the day.
