Displays the classic shutdown screen in Windows, the old on-screen window instead of the options displayed in the start menu only. #Power off window #Shutdown window #Windows shutdown #Shutdown #Power off #Restart
Older editions of Windows displayed a separate window on the desktop when the user chose to power off the PC, allowing them to choose the power command to execute. Microsoft then considered that this screen is useless, so now turning off the PC is done by selecting the Start button and clicking on the Power button to see the available options. But not all changes cater to all, so there are users who still prefer that classic confirmation window on older OS iterations.
Not only that Classic Power Off brings back the old shutdown panel, but it can also be pinned to the taskbar to allow a quicker and easier method to power off the system.
There is no need to go through an installation process for Classic Power Off, which makes it more convenient and easier to use. One you double-click it, the standard and quite familiar shutdown window opens, providing a simple drop-down menu that includes all the power options. In other words, different power options can be accessed intuitively.
As expected, in case of a pending Windows update, more options are available. In this situation, you will also be able to update before shutting down or restarting your system.
