Kill Proc

Kill Proc is a tiny software tool which was developed specifically to help individuals view all running processes on their computer, and terminate them easily.

This utility is portable, which means you can bypass the installation process, and copy the program files to any location on the HDD and launch it by clicking the EXE. It is also possible to move the last mentioned files to a USB drive, or other similar removable storage device, and run Kill Proc on any computer you have access to.

Another important aspect to keep in mind is that the Windows registry and Start menu/screen are not going to be affected in any way by this app.

The interface is characterized by simplicity, as it only includes a list of all processes running, along with details such as ID, file name, path and priority (if any). As a consequence, both experienced and novice users can find their way around it, without encountering any issues.

The main window also contains a command line box, so that you can execute particular actions in a more efficient manner. The only way to kill a process using this tool, is by double clicking the item. There are no other notable options.

There are no Help contents, while CPU and memory usage is minimal and therefore, the computer’s performance will not be burdened.

To conclude, Kill Proc is a pretty decent piece of software when it comes to killing processes, with a good response time and intuitive environment, yet its lack of other options is disappointing. Nonetheless, an update is more than welcomed.
