Moo0 System Closer

Moo0 System Closer is an approachable piece of software that you can use to trigger an immediate power management function for your computer. It comes packed with a basic set of options that can be easily figured out, even by users with less or no experience in software applications.

The setup procedure does not take a long time to finish. However, users should be careful when going through the setup steps, as Moo0 System Closer offers to download and install other apps (made by the same developer) that it doesn't need to function normally. Windows 7 users are able to run this tool by applying the XP compatibility mode (it worked for us, at least).

The interface is based on a very small window that shows five buttons for making the PC immediately go into standby mode, hibernate, log off, restart, or shut down. Those who are looking for scheduling any of these options at a specific time are out of luck, since Moo0 System Closer does not implement this kind of features.

The tool offers support for multiple UI languages and immediately sends a power option to the PC. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. On the other hand, given its lack of scheduling options, Moo0 System Closer is not more than a simple alternative to the Windows default power functions. Users can definitely find more features in similar tools.
