My USB Menu

Sometimes because of security concerns or restrictions due to lack of disk space, you may choose to run applications off of removable disks and media. The problem is that not all file formats can be run off of removable media, and sometimes even user settings can interfere with their proper functioning. To avoid such problems, specific apps have been created that can facilitate the execution of pretty much a program from removable media, and one such application is My USB Menu.

My USB Menu is a simple menu tool to open any type of file, as you can start anything that can be run from any kind of removable disk.  Unlike Windows shortcuts, My USB Menu uses relative paths and allows you to run apps even if you do not have the appropriate drives for them. Similar to virtual disk image programs, activating the program will automatically create a new virtual partition from where you can launch any application.

The program also includes three small freeware USB utilities Autorun Repair, USB Format (bootable supported) and USB View, meaning it can quickly take the place of many USB management tools. The programs that are launched from the removable media using this app behave just as they would if the kit were stored on the hard drive, with no additional system resources used, connectivity issues or errors. More so, the autorun repair function can help if there are system incompatibilities between your OS and programs stored on the removable media, which themselves may be more or less older.
