Auto Shutdown

Auto Shutdown is a small application with a pretty self-explanatory name. It allows you to schedule the PC to power off at a custom time, as well as to restart or log off.

The does not integrate complicated options or customization parameters, making it accessible even to those less experienced with software utilities.

The setup operation takes little time to finish and does not require special input on the user's behalf. 

As far as the interface is concerned, Auto Shutdown implements a clean and intuitive window, where you can view the current time in 12-hour clock format.

After setting the trigger time, you can select the power management function between shutdown, restart, or log off. There are no other notable options available here.

Auto Shutdown is pretty light on the system resources, since it uses low CPU and RAM. It executes a command rapidly and works fine, without causing the Windows to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. We have not come across any issues in our tests.

Although the window cannot be sent to the system tray area to become non-intrusive, it can be minimized to the taskbar.

Auto Shutdown does not have a particularly substantial feature set, but it serves its purpose when it comes to turning off, restarting or logging off the computer at a user-defined time.
