Sleep#

Sleep# is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you activate the ‘Sleep’ mode, hibernate your computer or turn off your display when the system has been idle for a predefined amount of time.

You can find the utility sitting quietly in the system tray, running in the background. It does not interfere with your work. It lets you activate its features using right clicks on its icon.

Sleep# gives you the possibility to enable or disable its functions and select the action that is triggered when the system is detected as being idle, namely turn on the sleep or hibernation mode, or turn off the display.

Before activating the target action, you can make the application delay the task, fade the audio and screen, as well as show a logo. You can perform tests to check out how the job is executed and choose between several preset delay time values.

What’s more, you are allowed to configure a timer that automatically starts the preferred mode at the end of the countdown. You can lock or log off the computer.

There’s support for several advanced features that allow you to display popup notifications, show restore on a wake event, as well as force the sleep/hibernation mode.

Sleep# proves to be a simple and reliable utility that can you keep on your system for sending your computer to sleep after a certain time of system inactivity. It can be used while you want to watch movies before going to sleep.
