Simple Startup Manager

Those of you that are constantly installing and uninstalling programs on your PC may eventually lose track of you have and what you don't.  The problem is that most programs fail to notify you that they can automatically start along with your system, and you end up wondering why does your PC boot so slowly. While most programs do come with the option of disabling this feature, doing this for each one of them can be a hassle, so a program like Simple Startup Manager that can disable them all in one swoop is useful.

You will be first presented with a list of all current programs installed on your system that are capable of activating automatically on system boot. However, those they are marked differently based on whether the program has that function activated or not.

All the apps that are displayed in that window can each be activated or deactivated at will, thus ensuring that your system doesn't take too long to start up, and no programs will be running in the background, any more than necessary. Each program's start settings can be modified depending on the users currently connected to the PC. Thus those that don't mind the extra waiting time can have all of their programs launch on system boot.

Since all programs that startup along with your system usually run in the background until the next shutdown, stopping them from launching in the first place can itself be considered a great memory optimizer.  This makes a program like Simple Startup Manager a good choice for those that are not interested in having their PC run slowly from the very start.
