UpTime

UpTime is a small software application whose purpose is to help you monitor your computer’s uptime, more specifically the time that has elapsed since Windows startup. You are given the freedom to set up automatic shutdown sessions.

It’s easy to work with UpTime because it’s portable. It gives you the advantage of keeping it stored on pen drives or other similar devices so you can carry it with you all the time. Plus, you may open it straight from the storage device without having to be an administrator.

No installation process is needed because you may gain access to its GUI by running the executable file. Plus, you may get rid of it with a quick deletion task of the file that you have downloaded from the Internet because it does not leave entries in your Windows registry.

UpTime can be found sitting quietly in the system tray without disturbing your activity. If you hover your mouse cursor over its icon, it shows the uptime. Plus, you can right-click on its tray icon to view a menu with available options and settings.

You can run the utility at Windows startup and make the application perform an automatic action (shut own, reboot, or hibernate the PC, log off the current user, close the tool) at certain uptime and custom time. The program’s tweaking parameters can be password-protected in order to make sure other users cannot make changes.

What’s more, UpTime provides quick access to several Windows tools, such as Notepad, Command Prompt, Task Manager, WordPad, Calculator, and Registry Editor. You are allowed to open the Control panel or access only a specific feature, such as Sound Properties, Keyboard Properties, and Internet Properties.
