Timed Shutdown is not one of those programs that let you manage other power options, like restart, sleep, hibernate, log off, etc. On the contrary, this one deals with shutdowns only. In case you are looking for more control than a simple power-off timer, this is not an app for you.

The UI is compact and straightforward. You get to adjust the timer for hours, minutes, and seconds and activate the countdown. Hit the Set button to start the timer. When active, the program won't actually count down the time, the set interval remains unchanged until the power is off. You will be informed about the app's status by pop-up notifications.

The notifications will be released upon starting the app, containing the total amount of time in minutes, and in the final 2 minutes. If you are still active when the time runs out, stop the program from taking effect by clicking the cancel button. One final notification will confirm the stoppage.
