As you know, macOS has a special feature called Hot Corners. The idea is that when somebody hovers their mouse over a corner of their screen, a certain action is triggered. With HotCornersWin you get the same options, but on your Windows 10 or 11 operating system.

Do note that there might be slight visual inconsistencies on Windows 11, but future updates will address the issue nevertheless.

It is difficult to talk about an interface, since we're dealing here with more of a control panel-type situation. The application itself is tied to those corners and the function you assign to them.

As a result, users can have their start menu launch, an extra virtual desktop appear, open Explorer, launch apps such as Snip & Sketch or Action Center, and so on.

Extra settings deal with the application's behavior when other apps are opened as well. Multi-monitor behavior settings are also adjustable, and action delay and poll cycles can be once again changed.

The best part is that custom actions can be set for the user, depending on whatever is needed. Let's say you want the Calculator app to be opened when hovering on a corner of your desktop.

You can set that up in just a couple of seconds, and you will not have wasted any time. The whole idea is to keep things simple and I must say I was amazed at how well the whole app performed.

The app will silently sit in your tray and will only notify you on important matters. Everything is well explained and best of all it makes total sense even to individuals who have never seen this app before. I must also point out that the app does add a bit of cool to any old laptop or desktop PC that did not initially have this feature.
