A simple, unintrusive app that adds a context menu entry that facilitates the uninstallation of any software on a user's computer. #Context Menu Uninstaller #Quick Uninstall #Quick Software Remove #Uninstaller #Remove #Delete
Uninstalling apps you don’t use is always a good idea to free up storage space, and in some situations, even gain some performance. It’s good to be picky about the software you install, but even so, there comes a time when certain apps have exhausted their use.
A portable piece of software that simply adds a context menu entry to enable you to quickly remove apps can prove useful in a number of situations, and you don’t necessarily need to be deleting programs on the regular to realize how convenient that ultimately is. That is what Right-Click Uninstall is about.
Setting up the program is fairly simple. You’ll initially have to refresh programs cache by clicking a button on its interface, then add the new context menu entry from the same place.
Upon doing so, you’ll see the new entry just below the Open function on the context menu. If you have software icons on your desktop, you can already start deleting what you don’t need anymore in this way.
Interacting with the entry will automatically execute the respective program’s uninstaller, so you can rest easy knowing the removals are dealt with in a proper manner.
While it’s likely that you won’t encounter any issues in getting the most out of this new context menu entry, it’s worth noting that some apps may be a little stubborn to cooperate. I found that navigating to the respective app’s directory, then using the Uninstall option on its executable worked best.
Even so, some apps would still refuse getting deleted, in which case, heading to the Control Panel to remove them would be the only choice. This does vary between apps, so it’s not necessarily this solution’s fault.
Right-Click Uninstall creates a context menu entry that allows you to remove software with minimal effort, all without requiring installation. Though you may find the occasional app that refuses to remove itself this way every now and then, I found the program to generally work well during my testing.
