For an enhanced browsing experience, both Chrome and Firefox (and, usually, all major web browsers) allow automatic form filling. This means that whenever you fill in a form, the data can be stored in a database and the text can be automatically filled in once again whenever needed. This saves you both time and effort, as you do not need to type in the same data over and over.

While managing autofill data or clearing it periodically can be done via the “Settings” of each browser, exploring it to view all the stored items is not possible.   BrowserAutoFillView is a simple software tool that allows you to view and explore the data stored by the “AutoFill” feature of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox.

The application requires no installation, which is quite convenient. The main window embeds a simple table that is automatically populated with entries as soon as you launch BrowserAutoFillView.

The application displays the name of the autofill entry, the stored value, the times it was created and last used, as well as the usage count, the profile path, and the associated web browser, be it Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Selected or all items in the table can be saved to a text file for later use. Odd and even rows can be marked to make it easier to use the selection tool and the list of visible columns can be easily modified, if you find that not all the items in the table’s header are needed.

There are a few options that can help you export the data easier. Not only that BrowserAutoFillView enables you to save the items as a text file, but you can also export them as in CSV, XML or HTML format.

BrowserAutoFillView allows you to explore the autofill data in Chrome and Firefox, displaying not only the data value, but also showing you how frequently an item was used. It comes in handy to see a statistic about the way autofill data impacts your workflow and helps you decide which items to keep and which to delete.
