C4 CPU is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you gather essential information about your computer, namely CPU and RAM usage, as well as details about hardware components.

You are welcomed by a clean and intuitive layout that embeds only a few options in the main window. There’s no support for a help manual but you do not need one to decode the program’s features as they are highly intuitive.

C4 CPU reveals details about the CPU and RAM usage in real-time directly in the main window. The information is displayed with the aid of progress bars and you can also check out the percentage values.

The application is able to show details about your operating system, processor, memory, video card name, as well as video card memory. Plus, it reveals data about the free and total space of each partition detected on your computer.

On the downside, you need to manually select the information that you are interested in from a drop-down list and then hit the ‘Get Info’ button in order to check out the results. This means waste of time and extra mouse clicks. A simple list with all the details about the hardware components would have been easier to check.

You cannot save the information about your computer to the clipboard and to a file (e.g. TXT, PDF, DOC, CSV), and print it. There’s no support for sound and popup alerts for notifying you when the CPU and RAM usage values exceed a user-defined number.

C4 CPU integrates a basic suite of options for helping you monitor CPU and memory usage. However, it needs several functionality improvements.
