TaskManager

TaskManager is a small software application whose purpose is to help you get detailed information about the processes that are running on your computer. This way, you can detect suspicious and malicious entries that may be active on your system.

You can store TaskManager on USB flash drives or other portable devices to have it with you all the time. You can run it on the target system without having to go through an installation process. You only need to open the executable file.

No leftovers are saved in your Windows registry so a simple deletion task is sufficient for getting rid of the tool.

You are welcomed by a straightforward design that gives you the possibility to set up the dedicated parameters on the fly. The program reveals the total number of processes that are currently running on your PC, as well as ‘Svchost’ processes.

The application reveals a list with all running items and offers you the option to view details about each process, such as name, ID, priority, start time, description, file path, product version, language, company name, file build and version, and copyright.

What’s more, you can access a short description which includes info about the executable name and DLLs, as well as full description about each DLL (e.g. product version, private build, debugging, internal name, pre-release, language, original filename).

Last but not least, you are allowed to refresh the information, perform searches throughout the entire list with processes, and export the information to plain text file format.
