Windows comes with a built-in task manager and while this is a pretty powerful and reliable tool, it is just not enough to some users. If you feel like you need to be more in control over the running processes and really know what is running on your PC and what is happening in the background, then an application such as System Explorer might do the trick.

System Explorer is, in fact, an alternative to the Windows Task Manager, but with a few additional features that make it worth your while.
