Keep an eye on CPU usage through an intuitive tray icon with an additional tooltip, as well as a function to capture custom regions of the screen and save them to clipboard. #Capture screen #CPU meter #Grab screen #Benchmark #Capture #Grab
Different computer operations require the use of particular tools, such as capturing screenshots, or simply to keep an eye on resource consumption. Although Windows provides most little tools by default, they might not suffice, or can be counterintuitive. For instance, loadngo Snip is the type of application to display CPU consumption and help you take screenshots.
First of all, you need to make sure that your computer is fitted with .NET Framework, because it’s a mandatory component needed for both to go through the setup process, as well as to benefit from all the application has to offer. Don’t worry if nothing shows up on launch, because the application quietly sits in the tray area.
The application can handle two tasks, and it does this simultaneously. On the one hand, it helps you know how much CPU is used in real-time, and this is done through a representative tray icon. Hovering the cursor over the icon displays a tooltip indicating the exact percentage, which also updates in real-time.
On the other hand, it contains a tool which is able to capture screen activity. Whenever you click the tray icon, the screenshot tool is activated. You might end up scratching your head for a while, because nothing in particular is displayed, but simply dragging a box over the region of interest defines the capture section, which is sent to the clipboard.
The icon turns back to the CPU monitor once a screenshot is taken. Needless to say that the last picture is discarded, since it’s not automatically saved, but just sent to the clipboard. There are no hotkey controls for faster trigger of functions.
Taking everything into consideration, we can state that loadngo Snip comes with a couple of functions which don’t really relate, but might prove useful together. However, the delivery of features is pretty poor, with little CPU info displayed, and only clipboard support of captured images.
