A tiny script that enables you to install some of the most common applications every average Windows users should have for an optimal experience #Install app #Automatic install #Batch installation #Install #Installation #Batch
Perhaps one of the reasons some users are reluctant to re-installing their Windows operating system is the fact that they have to install all the applications all over again. AfterFORMAT is a script designed to simplify this task considerably as it provides users with the possibility to install most of the previously owned applications with just one click.
Since it is a script, it goes without saying that it needs to be run via a console with Administrator privileges. If this minor requirement is respected, then a window should pop up that provides some of the most common programs Windows users should have.
The program list is quite extensive and includes must-have tools for the average user, including here 7-Zip, KeePass, Google Chrome, VLC media player, Notepad++, Total Commander, TeamViewer, WinSCP, Audacity, Spotify, Adguard, ShareX and VirtualBox, just to name a few. Users can select the applications to be installed and hit the Apply button.
Users who don’t want to install programs like this and prefer Chocolatey or winget will be happy to learn that they can install either of them and proceed with grabbing their usual application from there. Regardless of the choice, users can easily find, install, upgrade, remove or configure apps in Windows 10 and 11.
