Authorizer

If you have purchased the full versions of Reason, Reason Essentials or both, you can use Authorizer to manage your licenses with ease. This tool actually gets automatically installed with versions 9 and 10 of Reason and Reason Essentials.

However, there are some scenarios which require you to download and install the program by yourself. For instance, if you are running an older version of Authorizer (2.7.1) and wish to get Rack Extensions whose size surpasses 2GB, then it's time to update to the latest version.

Also, when using an older version of Reason (6.5, 7x or 8.1 - 8.3.2) or Reason Essentials (1.5, 2.x or 8.1-8.3.2), it's possible that you may have issues when trying to download or authorize Rack Extension. You can separately download Authorizer if you want to use a PC that doesn't have Reason or Reason Essentials installed, in order to authorize an ignition key.

Please keep in mind that the latest Authorizer version (2.9.2) is only compatible with x64 systems. If you are running x86 Windows, you have to get an older version (2.7.3), which is also available for download from this page.
