Auto-m8 is a handy AFK (‘Away From Keyboard’) utility designed to automate mouse and keyboard movements in case you are not in front of your computer.
The automation app doesn't reflect any intentions towards showing aesthetic values. It's clear that beauty isn't what the tool was made for.
It carries just a couple of buttons with a small chart that records the input, position, and actions your mouse and keyboard do at any given time. This way, it's obvious that Auto-m8 was built to work mostly in the background without any serious presence on the desktop.
However, it must be noted that this program isn't the user-friendliest automation utility out there. Fortunately, testing it for a while will make you a bit more familiar with it and will help you put it to good use, especially in games.
There aren't many other features supported by Auto-m8, except settings, extra hotkeys, and background color adjustments. However, users of massively multiplayer games will quickly see the advantage of such a tool without risking to have their accounts banned.
By setting Auto-m8 to move the mouse and press some keys automatically, users can program their characters to do a lot of in-game work that would normally be exhausting for a normal human being.
By tweaking the loop counts, delays, mouse position, and pressed buttons, basically, the users delegate their computer terminals to this program, which may be very well considered a 'robot.'
Although not a morally correct way to play MMORPGs, Auto-m8 automates the whole keyboard/mouse terminal. This way, it isn't detected by game developers, while robots or 'bots' usually are.
Auto-m8 is a useful tool for anyone that needs to program simple keyboard and mouse movements on their desktop. However, no use for this app is greater than the need of gamers to farm gains in online games via repetitive actions.
While not being morally acceptable, Auto-m8 doesn't alter game codes so it isn't technically a 'bot.' Nevertheless, the end-results are the same so it would be advised to think twice before using it in gaming conditions.
