Balloon Tip Time Changer is a small and portable Windows utility whose name pretty much sums up its functionality: it can help you adjust the time of the balloon tips display when the they pop up from the bottom right corner of the screen. It also lets you disable these messages.

As there is no installation involved, you can put the app directory in any part of the hard disk and simply launch the executable file. This is also possible when saving Balloon Tip Time Changer to a USB flash disk or other removable storage unit, in order to immediately run it on any other computer without installing anything beforehand.

Worth taking into account is that the Windows registry and Start menu do not get updated with new keys, so no traces are left behind after the program's removal.

The interface is represented by a small, regular window with a neatly organized structure, which packs just the essential options and nothing else. All you have to do is move a slider to adjust the display time, or enter a numerical value in seconds, ranging from 0 to 10,000 seconds.

Changes are applicable with the click of a button. There are no other noteworthy options available here. For example, Balloon Tip Time Changer does not integrate a button for resetting the time to default.

There were no kind of issues in our tests, since the tool did not freeze, crash or pop up error messages. It has minimal impact on PC performance and applies the changes fast. Although it is not feature-rich, Balloon Tip Time Changer serves its purpose and, thanks to its overall simplicity, can be used by anyone.
