Batch Rename Pro

Renaming one file is a basic process that can be accomplished by multiple simple methods in a couple of seconds. However if you want to rename multiple files, you know that you are getting into a time-consuming activity that can depend on the number of file/folders you need to execute. Batch Rename Pro is a neat app that can reduce that time by renaming multiple items at once.

One of the biggest elements within the UI is the preview panel, as it can hold a large number of files along with all the details about the executed tasks. The tasks are individual processes that can be applied to all selected items or to specifically selected ones.

The tasks are listed in the left top panel, while the bottom one, “Task Properties” is used to input your changes and apply them to your files.

After you have uploaded your item list, you have to load in at least one task to be able to start the process. From the toolbar, click on Add Task and choose one of the nine available tasks or pick them all, there is no interdiction for that. The tasks can not only rename files, but it can add separate prefixes/suffixes, add numerical orders, change extensions, and even remove them.

If you need to only rename the files, select them all and use “Replace” to completely re-write them. If you need to do a more intricate job, select what task to apply to what file, complete the task properties with the right text and hit “Start”.
