Driver Loader/Unloader

Mostly designed for developers, Driver Loader/Unloader is a simple yet handy application ready to provide assistance in testing kernel drivers and Windows services. While simple, this application offers much more control over driver devices, be them signed or unsigned.

There is no need to install Driver Loader/Unloader, as it is up and running as soon as you double-click on the main executable file. In other words, you can launch the application from any location on the disk and use it on the go, if necessary.

The main window enables you to select the target driver, either by browsing for it or dragging and dropping it in the designated field. Driver Loader/Unloader reads and extracts the driver's name automatically, along with information about the driver type. The application comes with support for Kernel drivers, file system drivers, recognizer drivers, and more.

There are also drop-down lists that allow you to select the start type and the error control mode. Services can be set to launch at Windows boot or at system start, either on demand or automatically.

With the push of a button, you can register a driver or unregister it. A driver can also be started or stopped with a few clicks, which offers much more control in a scenario when you need to test Windows kernel drivers and services.
