JunkCtrl is a tool designed to help you get an overview of the applications installed on your Windows 11 computer so that you can remove the obsolete ones or the bloatware that typically comes embedded with this OS.

The app doesn’t require installation or configuration, so just download and launch the executable. The interface is sleek and user-friendly and you can get started by specifying whether you prefer an autoscan or manual scan of your system.

If neither of the options is appealing, then you can use the ‘Skip and use assistant’ option. The latter enables you to view all the programs installed on your system, so you can go through them one by one and decide which one you don’t need anymore.

In case you already know what you want to remove, use the Search box to find it without too much hassle. You also have the options to import the bloatware list or export it directly to bin.

The app enables you to view System apps as well, but you should be careful what you uninstall because it can cause performance issues and make the OS unstable. For this reason, the app includes a warning and explains why it doesn’t offer the uninstallation option for certain system apps.

When it comes to removing apps, sometimes you may change your mind or perhaps, you come to realize that you require a certain junk app to ensure the functionality of other programs. You will be happy to learn that the tool doesn’t completely erase the apps marked as bloatware, but moves them to Recycle Bin first. You can easily restore your files, if you change your mind.
