LocateMyPrinters

LocateMyPrinters is a powerful application that was especially designed to help system and network administrators manage printer infrastructure in the environment they control.

It is designed to allow the easy and centralized management of printers in the business environment, providing the tools administrators require to face the challenges of a workstation setting that is frequently changing users.

LocateMyPrinters is based on a localhost service that can be managed by the system administrator, in the server-side application. The program is able to manage networked printers and it provides the necessary means of collecting data, connecting and synchronizing it with the corresponding service. It can handle large printer configurations, with more than 20 devices in use.

On the other hand, the client-side provides an intuitive interface that enable users to manage all their local printers and get access to network ones. The client makes it possible for users to view the print job queue, print a test page on any of the available printing devices, and configure the printing preferences.

LocateMyPrinters can effectively assign printers to workstation users, providing both flexibility and control. One of its most important advantages is that it helps users delegate printing jobs to other devices in case one print job queue is too crowded.
