Mouse Wiggler

Finding your computer asleep when you come back from your short break might be annoying but what's even more frustrating is when the PC screen goes to sleep during a presentation, for instance. The thing is, the Windows OS features power-saving capabilities that can activate the idle mode after a specific period of inactivity. The power and sleep options can be changed via the Power Options in the Settings or the Control Panel, but another option is an application such as Mouse Wiggler, which can simulate mouse movement to prevent Windows' inactivity timers from starting.

Mouse Wiggler requires no installation and consists of nothing more than a simple window with a large button on it. This button enables you to start the mouse movement simulation and stop it whenever necessary. If you keep your mouse cursor still when Mouse Wiggler is turned on, you will notice that the cursor slightly moves around to avoid computer inactivity.

There are no other options to deal with and no other menus to explore, which is a shame. It could come in handy if Mouse Wiggler would also feature mouse click simulation and not just small cursor movement simulation. Right now, it is only good for wiggling the mouse cursor to keep the computer active but having a mouse click simulator as well would make it more desirable to gamers as well so it would broaden the range of potential users.
