NetDown Application Kill Switch

Downloading content from the Internet, or just your Local Area Connection, can sometimes end unexpectedly, especially when network fluctuations or interruptions occur. Having the right means to control the behavior of network-related processes, such as downloaders or torrent clients, can be useful in avoiding the shortcomings of losing network connectivity, even temporarily. NetDown Application Kill Switch addresses such requirements.

This application was designed specifically in order to provide users with a specialized tool for monitoring network connectivity status and define rules for either suspending or ending completely particular processes and active applications, such as download managers.

Aside from suspending selected processes, the application can also serve as an alternative kill switch for VPN programs that do not come equipped with built-in functionality for such features, or when using the default, Windows VPN.

NetDown Application Kill Switch features a single-layout interface, which offers users its functionality through two main menus, as well as the context menu. One will be able to add multiple executables to the application list, and choose for each individual entry, to either kill or suspend the app in case of network connectivity loss.

Last but not least, the available network interfaces will be automatically detected, enabling users to select the preferred entry.
