A Ricoh solution to customizing printer drivers to your needs, simply by adjusting the .INF file contained by any driver you are working with. #Driver Editor #Printer Driver #INF Editor #Driver #Editor #Printer
Printer Driver Editor is Ricoh's way of attempting to offer users a simpler way to customize printing behavior by altering the .INF files from printer drivers. While it might work with most drivers, the app itself was created for Ricoh device owners. The idea behind the app is simple and useful at the same time. The app itself has a simple interface, easy to navigate and get the hang of.
The .INF file stores parameters that have to do with the driver behavior. Seeing as this piece of software is the interface between yourself and the device you are using, it makes sense to alter it if you want to teach your device to behave in a certain way. In theory, you should be able to alter the presets that deal with paper size and general printing behavior.
Loading the .INF file is a piece of cake. You get to change the desired options right in the app. After adjusting everything to your liking, all you have to do is save the altered file and substitute it for the original put in the driver pack. That is pretty much it in terms of requirements on the user's behalf.
