Having to work with a lot of windows in a single monitor can be a pain, even though there’s the taskbar to help you minimize the ones you don’t necessarily need to keep in plain sight. On the bright side of things, there are various specialized applications just like zScreenLess which help you hide any group of windows through hotkeys.

The application launches off its window as soon as the setup process is over. Truth be told, it can feel a little rough around the edges, but the overall design doesn’t pose any accommodation problems whatsoever, on the contrary, it’s fitted with various helpful tooltips which quickly get you up and running.

A large panel is used to show all active windows, with column headers for caption, program path, name, as well as a checkbox in case you don’t want to target all of them. The other side is split into a couple more sections to show windows which are hidden by programs, and those which are hidden by caption.

You’re free to fill up the two lists based on either captions or program paths, or even disable a group entirely. A context menu can be brought up to easily select the group you want to include the window in. When done, you can send the application window to the tray area so it doesn’t take up any precious desktop space.
