Faststone Image Viewer nLite Addon is a sophisticated and user-friendly application that comes bundled with a wide variety of functions to view, convert, improve, and apply corrections to images, as well as create beautiful slideshows with a broad range of effects and transitions.

It provides an array of functions focus on picture management and comparison, along with resizing, cropping, and color adjustments. The supported types are BMP, JPEG, JPG, GIF, PNG, PCX, TIFF, WMF, ICO, while for digital cameras (CRW, CR2, NEF, PEF, RAF, MRW, ORF, SRF, DNG).

You can select the random or loop mode, resize bigger images to a particular dimension, and enter transition effects (wipe, slide, push, fade, expand).

The program lets you select an external application that can be used as a full editor, however, it does come itself, with a few drawing tools, like the pencil, lines, pop-ups and different shapes. For each element, the width, color and opacity may be set. Plus, the app enables you to crop the photo to a specific length, by inputting the values for width and height, or selecting a predefined parameter from the list.

An item can be rotated to left, right or any angle, and flipped vertically or horizontally. It's possible to insert filters to enhance and adjust a picture quality and attributes. Among them, you can find brightness, contrast, gamma, hue and saturation, sharpen or blur, as well as grayscale, sepia, edge, and red-eye removal.
