AntiAutoAwake

You are probably well aware that certain devices, such as your mouse and keyboard, can wake your computer from sleep mode or hibernation. You can disable this feature, but this involves configuring each device’s power management properties or using the Powercfg command-line tool.

AntiAutoAwake is a small program that can make this task easier, as it displays all devices that are currently capable of waking your computer in a single window, allowing you to disable any of them with just a couple of mouse clicks.

Getting started is exceedingly simple, as you can launch the application without going through an installation process, making the deployment process very quick and intuitive.

AntiAutoAwake scans your devices and displays all the ones that are currently configured to wake your computer from sleep or hibernation mode. You can refresh the list manually when connecting additional devices.

If you have found a device that needs to be modified, you just need to select it and click the Disable Awake button. The device will no longer wake your PC when providing input, and it will be removed from the list.

However, it is worth noting that the application does not remember the devices that have been changed, so it cannot help you re-enable the wake feature. You should only rely on AntiAutoAwake if you are certain that you don’t want to revert this modification or know how to do so.

While it would be great if the application allowed you to revert changes made to various devices, it is still a very useful tool for those who want to quickly prevent them from waking the computer. Just keep in mind that you cannot re-enable the wake feature with this utility.
