Easy Tweak

Easy Tweak is a lightweight application that enables you to enhance the looks and feels of your operating system without too much hassle. Unfortunately, the program comes with a rather old-school interface, whereas navigating through it is not quite intuitive. Then again, the aforementioned are basically the only downsides of the tool.

When launched, the tool provides you with detailed information about your operating system, including chipset model and manufacturer, processor, memory and the current up time for your device. To get started, you need to hover your mouse over the lower section of the GUI where you have several menus, each representative for the type of tweaks you can do for your system.

As previously mentioned, the tool allows you to perform cosmetic modifications such as disabling the color scheme control or disabling the right-click on the desktop area. In the Drives menu, you can easily change the current labels of your drives, whereas the Hardware enables you to disable the CD/DVD ROM or delete accidental double-clicks. There are numerous other modifications and tweaks you can do in the security department, explorer, login and authentication or the taskbar. Keep in mind that it is best to create a restore point before proceeding to making any tweaks.
