Access default Windows features from an intuitive environment and grab various third-party enhancement tools from the web for enhanced comfort and functionality #System Configuration #System Diagnostic #System Manager #Configure #Diagnose #Anti-malware
Right after you’re done with a fresh Windows install it doesn’t mean you’re fully ready to go. There are various tools you might need for daily activities, some of which aren’t bundled in Windows default features. Luckily, Luke's Setup Assistant comes with an impressive list of shortcuts to system settings, and even external tools.
First of all, you need to make sure that your computer is fitted with .NET Framework for the application to be able to function properly. On the other hand, Luke's Setup Assistant doesn’t take you through a setup process, which makes it a practical tool to carry around and use on other computers besides your own, without leaving any traces since registry entries are not altered.
All the application has to offer is wrapped around a classic window frame fitted with different tabs to let you easily access the various management areas. These include Windows settings, security utilities, special folders, network utilities, Microsoft Office, and a bunch of miscellaneous tools.
The application wants to help in most management areas of the PC. As such, it provides quick links to both default Windows features, and third-party tools you can easily grab from trusted websites. There’s also a help tool which provides relevant descriptions for each item on the list.
Truth be told, it covers an impressive variety of functions, such as core OS tools, diagnostics and data collection, tasks and processes, system info, disk and file tools, printing and more. Experienced individuals can register or unregister DLLs from the system, attempt to fix boot, win, and system INI configuration files, and even grab different versions of .NET Framework.
Bottom line is that even though Windows allows a great deal of liberty when it comes to functional and visual system tweaks, Luke's Setup Assistant manages to put important functions together in an intuitive design, and also provide suggestions on tools to extend functionality.
