This one-click cleaner tool facilitates disposing your Windows system of unused temp files, logs, and various cached elements to improve performance #System Maintenance #System Cleanup #Computer Maintenance #Maintenance #Cleanup #Cleaning
Windows has gotten pretty good at maintaining your machine, but it’s still not quite there yet. Cleaning temp files, logs, and some caches that aren’t relevant for your use anymore can be safely disposed of, sometimes even at the benefit of some extra performance, mostly by way of freeing storage space.
System maintenance tools, too, have gotten better at making the process easier, more efficient, and generally more welcoming to all types of users. PASPAS is an example that should be considered if a straightforward system cleanup experience is what you prioritize.
The program’s goal is to provide an accessible means for users of all kinds to maintain their computer in a frustration-free way. To do so, it offers you two cleanup modes to choose from: Basic and Advanced.
Basic will deal with various temp files, but it also disposes of DNS cache and system logs, among other things. Advanced, on the other hand, is more thorough, as it also tackles memory dumps, prefetched data, as well as other cached elements. If you wish to be more particular in your selection, then consider using the Special mode.
If you only want to dispose of certain elements, Special lets you customize your cleanup. As such, you have several options you can toggle. Some pertain to clearing caches of various system functions, while some deal with removing temporary files and old Windows installations.
Once you’re happy with your choices, you may click Start to begin the process. It usually is handled within a few seconds by the program, but your mileage may vary.
There’s also an Analysis button whose use I can’t quite make out, because I’m not sure. Clicking it will show a record which will display various temp and log files. Perhaps it looks for any such available files that can be safely erased through a cleanup procedure.
Though a rather simple piece of software, PASPAS should be enough for a good chunk of users to delete redundant data and free some storage space in the process. More advanced users may still want to look for something more comprehensive, however.
