Radeon Software Slimmer

In the eventuality that you are using a computer with an AMD Radeon processor, then you probably downloaded the AMD Radeon Adrenalin to tweak and optimize the way the PC handles video games. While overall useful, the program packs some bloatware that is just taking space on your drives.

As the name suggests, Radeon Software Slimmer is a tool designed to trim down the unnecessary utilities and features that come with the Radeon Software.

Before you can use the tool, first you must download the latest version of AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition. Afterwards, simply decompress the utility and add the app in the dedicated section to be processed. The app scans the installer and provides a comprehensive list of all the features and utilities included in a list that features Product Name, URL, type and description. The latter can come in handy in establishing whether you should remove a product.

Functionality-wise, the tool entails that you go through the list and decide on the components that you want to keep. If you removed any components, then simply click on the Modify Installer to apply the changes and the app modifies the AMD software executable. If everything is OK, then just hit the Run the Installer option.

As with other similar software, the app is developed by independent third-party so you are using it at your own risk. Since the tool is not supported by AMD, take note that improper use can lead to system instability.
