Scriptboxie

Scripts can significantly save a lot of time and energy, especially when it comes to redundant tasks that need to be done on a daily basis. While useful, not everyone has the knowledge to create them, unless they are familiar with programming.

Scriptboxie is a tiny application that changes all that, as it allows users to create and manage scripts, even without extensive technical know how.

The program comes with a modern interface split into 3 main tabs, namely the Main where you can preview a list of all your scripts, Edit where you can manage them and the Settings. Before you can make any modifications to the Main or Edit tab, check whether the recording is ON or OFF. You can do so from the top right oft the UI or in the lower left corner for each tab.

Once you switch to ON, you are ready to record your script and, as you probably guessed it, you can find all actions included in the Edit tab. You can easily review the script and decide whether you need to add or remove actions accordingly.

The program can be used for anything that is repetitive and time-consuming. For instance, you can create a script to help you with regular backups for your files and folders. Simply execute all the actions that you normally do when creating backups while making sure that the recorder is ON.
