If you're looking for something simpler that just the job just as well, you can take a look at Simple Care. Wrapped in a portable package, this application requires minimal configuration, so it can be used even by those with no previous experience in system tweakers.

It focuses on cleaning junk files, rebuilding the font cache, optimizing the Internet speed and Windows system, protecting document files, and boosting the PC speed. Although it's portable, it creates a desktop shortcut after launch.

The program is packed in a clean and intuitive interface, where you can start the optimization operation with one click while keeping in mind that all previously mentioned settings will be taken into account. If you want to disable any of those options, you can head over to the manual cleaning area.

The entire operation may take a while, depending on the selected settings as well as the hardware configuration of your system. However, once it's over, you can check out a log file with details about each activity if your interested.

A minimum amount of system resources was used in our tests while the program was busy with cleaning jobs. Unfortunately, it's not very clear about the type of operations performed, like how is it optimizing Internet speed.

Taking everything into account, Simple Care may not be feature-rich but it provides a clean interface and straightforward options for users interested in quick and easy PC cleanup jobs. It worked smoothly in our evaluation.
