Find & Remove Programs

Find & Remove Programs is a tiny and portable application that enables you to seamlessly remove installed programs from your computer. It contains just some basic options that can be quickly figured out.

Since there is no installation involved, you can save the executable file anywhere on the disk and just click it to launch Find & Remove Programs.

Another possibility is to store it on a removable storage unit to directly run it on any machine without any previous setup. It doesn't modify Windows registry settings, unlike most installers.

Made from a normal window with a clear-cut structure, the tool loads all installed software utilities at startup and lets you browse the list to inspect their name, version, publisher and date. All you have to do is select an app and uninstall it with one click.

Find & Remove Programs provides you with a basic search function when dealing with numerous applications, and gives you the possibility to view and uninstall Windows updates, if you know them to be faulty.

Apart from the fact that you can view the number of all identified programs in the status bar, and that you can change the viewing mode (details, tile, list, small or large icons), there are no other notable options available here.

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, since the app didn't hang, crash or display error messages. As expected, its impact on the overall performance of the PC was minimal, since it needed low CPU and RAM to work properly.

Although it doesn't feature richer options for experienced users, Find & Remove Programs delivers a simple and straightforward method to removing installed software products, and it can be handled by anyone with ease.
