NVIDIA GPU Power Management

Setting the correct power plan to match your activity and running tasks for your GPU can save power and make your system run smoother. Creating custom GPU power profiles is possible due to the NVIDIA GPU Power Management application, which enables you to define power limits and configure profiles per application.

The application is easily installed and once launched, it displays its intuitive, tab-based GUI. The list of detected GPUs is displayed in a drop-down menu, allowing you to quickly select the one you need to tweak.

NVIDIA GPU Power Management allows you to set GPU power limits, both default, minimum and maximum values, but deeper control can be obtained in the “Control” tab, which makes it possible to configure power limit profiles for individual apps.

A few other commands can be executed with NVIDIA GPU Power Management, which can display the current GPU clock speed and the performance state, lock and reset GPU or VRAM clocks, and print the SMI information.

Setting GPU profiles for NVIDIA graphics cards is possible with this lightweight application. It can configure profiles per application can automatically apply power limits after booting the system.
