Media Player Gadget

As its name implies, Media Player Gadget is a tiny gadget that allows you to play media files on your desktop. It can be easily installed and configured, even by inexperienced users.

The interface of the tool is based on a small frame which you can move to any spot on the screen. You can access the 'Settings' area to enter the video URL or file path. Unfortunately, the 'drag and drop' method is not supported.

Media Player Gadget comes with several options. For example, you can manage plug-ins, adjust the volume level and play speed, zoom in, as well as switch to full screen mode.

But you can also view file properties and statistics, configure performance options (e.g. connection speed, network buffering, DVD and video playback), as well as check out error details.

Thanks to the default settings provided by the operating system, you may adjust the frame's opacity level and make it stay on top of other windows. The tiny app puts little strain on the computer's resources, as it uses a low amount of CPU and system memory. No errors have occurred during our evaluation and Media Player Gadget did not freeze or crash. No recent updates have been made.
