A stylish gadget for your Vista sidebar, which looks like the Citizen Black Eagle wristwatch. It does not comprise many features. #Vista sidebar #Watch gadget #Citizen automatic clock #Clock #Watch #Automatic clock
As the name suggests, Citizen Black Eagle is a tiny widget that displays a clock on your desktop, whose frame resembles the Citizen Black Eagle wristwatch. This tool can be seamlessly installed and set up, since it doesn't require any special knowledge.
The frame is small and can be moved to any position on the screen, by dragging it with the mouse cursor; the clock shows the current hour and minute, but not the second by default.
By opening the context menu, you can access the context menu and bring up the Options panel, in order to give the clock a name to show on the primary window, to show the second hand, as well as to switch to a different timezone.
There are no other notable settings supplied by the widget. However, thanks to the options provided by the operating system by default, you can also make the frame stay on top of other windows, as well as set its opacity to a preset value, ranging from 20% to 100%.
The widget is very light on the system resources, using a minimal amount of CPU and system memory. It has a good response time to commands and works well, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. We have not come across any issues in our evaluation. On the downside, Citizen Black Eagle has not been updated for a pretty long time.
