FlipClock

FlipClock is a small clock app developed in Adobe Flash that shows time on your desktop. It is easy to install and customize, no matter how inexperienced you are with this type of tools.

The interface of the utility is based on a small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor.

Time is displayed in digital mode, including seconds. The text has a white color, while the black panels flip when the time changes. Thus, you can add a touch of vintage style to your screen.

With the help of the default options provided by the operating system, you can make FlipClock stay on top of all the other windows. But you can also specify its opacity level, by selecting a preset value which ranges from 20% to 100%.

Some Adobe Flash settings can be configured. You can zoom into the frame, as well as adjust the graphics quality (low, medium, high). The lightweight app does not leave a mark on the computer's resources, since it uses a very low amount of CPU and system memory.

It is very responsive to commands and didn't cause Windows to freeze, crash or display error dialogs during our evaluation. FlipClock is stylish alternative to the default clock available through the operating system.
